3rd Friday Shabbat Dinner | Foods from the Former Soviet Union

March 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Join us for a special community dinner featuring traditional dishes from the former Soviet Union. Gather around the table with us for a warm, welcoming evening as you enjoy classic Eastern European cuisine.

Menu includes:

  • Shuba (“Herring Under a Fur Coat”) — a layered cold casserole with pickled herring, potatoes, hard-boiled egg, mayonnaise, and shredded beet
  • Salat Olivier — a classic cold loaded potato salad dressed in mayo
  • Kotleti — chicken croquettes
  • Vareniki — stuffed wheat flour dumplings (vegetarian)
  • Assorted breads and pickled vegetables
  • Tea and cake

Dinner is generously donated by the Rozman and Trushina families.

Guests are welcome to bring an Eastern European-inspired dish to share, but this is completely optional.

Please RSVP by Tuesday so we can plan accordingly.

We look forward to sharing a delicious evening together.
