An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Saturday, repeating until June 26, 2021
In popular culture, the picture of an activist is someone who dives into the cause with no thought to themselves, working until they burn out, while a spiritual seeker is someone who goes off by themselves with no connection to others.
Judaism seeks a balance between these extremes — finding a path to seek justice while remaining spiritually grounded.
In June’s chanting circles, we’ll explore how we can tend to our soul and work for justice at the same time. As always, everyone is welcome and no prior chanting experience is needed. With the Temple re-opening, our gathering on June 5 will be in person and also on Zoom, while the other three Saturdays we will meet online only.
