Adult Education

At Temple Hesed, we encourage all members to engage in life-long Jewish learning.  We provide opportunities to expand Jewish understanding and observance on a wide variety of subjects, from understanding the prayerbook to Jewish mysticism to Jewish cooking around the world.  We also teach "A Taste of Judaism: Are You Curious," for non-Jews as well as Jews, both within and outside of the Temple.  We try to be responsive to our congregants' busy schedules.  Therefore adult education classes vary in location and time.

Beginning Hebrew for Prayers and Songs

Starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 19th, and running for six Thursday evenings afterwards, join us a fun-filled excursion into the Hebrew of our prayers and songs. Each class will focus on practical skills for being comfortable with the prayers and songs we do here in Temple Hesed. Non-members are also welcome – it’s a great way to introduce them to our Temple! So join us – you’ll never feel lost in a Shabbat service again!
